Here’s a short video, to show you how to use the Maven Supplies website, show you how to order site products, get a shipping quote, and put your order through. So say if you’re looking at our homepage here and then on the left here, you can see the categories. Our categories also have dropdown categories, subcategories of that so inside of “Crockery,” “Bowls,” saw one there, you can see those, and then products in here.
So say if we’re looking for toilet paper, we’ll click on “Toilet Paper” and then that will show you the product page of toilet paper and you can see all the photos there and if you want to pick a particular product to get more information, just click on the photo or text and that will show you the actual product in detail.
So it will show you that product. You can hover over the product, like so, and then that will show you—just get a close up of the photo. And then you can see more information there and we’ve even got video on all of our products so you just click this “Play” button in the middle of the video to play the video and watch that.
And then we’re just going to add this product to cart so if you want more information, watch that video, they give a lot of information on our product. This will then pop up and then we’re going to click “View or Edit Your Cart” so say you’re shopping cart, if you have a coupon code, you can just apply it here, so paste your coupon code in that you’ve, that we’ve e-mailed you if we do send out your discount coupon.
So it pays to sign up for our newsletter because we send those out from time to time. There’s your discount. Now the estimated shipping and tax, this is where you work at the shipping. So you select your, say you’re going to send to Sydney so select “New South Wales,” the Sydney postcode. It goes off of the postcode is what the shipping’s estimated off of, work that off, so we’ll just click that.
Now calculated price is $14.90 for this order. If your order’s over $200, it will be freight free. This one isn’t over $200 so it’s not freight free. If you want to get it freight free, get it up over that amount. It varies depending on your postcode so whatever your postcode is, just follow this rule here to get your postage up.
Say we want to go through checkout, we’ll click here if we want to go on and pay. I’m happy with that, that postage is quite reasonable, $14.90 for postage. Now you have three choices. You can checkout as a guest if you just want to buy off the site. I highly recommend registering an account. That way you can order off of us regularly. It makes it a lot easier and quicker. You’ll also sign up to for our newsletter in a following process and then we’ll send you out specials and coupon codes from time to time.
So what you do here is you’ll click “Continue” and you’ll fill in all your details. It’s pretty straight forward—your e-mail address, phone number, deliver address, and so on, all the…
Now I’m just going to go back and show you and log in ourselves because we’ve got an account set up. I’ll show you what will happen once you’ve registered or even if you check out as a guest. So I’m just going to log in here with our e-mail. Now if you ever forget your password or you need to know which e-mail address you signed up, just click “Forgot your password” and that will send you out a temporary one.
But I remember our password and then we’ll just click here and that will take us to the next step here. Now your delivery address, if you want to change your delivery address, just apply these, it’s quite straightforward and we’ll just use that delivery address, we do want to ship to this address, click on that.
“Calculated Freight” so this is what the freight actually worked out at. If you’re over $100, it’ll be freight free. This is my actual, because it goes off of our postcode, it’s different from the one that I quoted. My postcode is actually 20055 so that’s why the $10.70 which is less than the, the postcode for Sydney.
So we’ll just click “Continue” so that’s okay there. Now you can see here we’ve applied the discount coupon and “How Would You Like to Pay?” If you’re an account customer, you can select that and we will send it to your account to be paid at the end of the month. We’ve only got a few account but customers but if—and you know who you are—all other people can pay either with credit card or PayPal directly. Even if you don’t have a PayPal account, you can pay with your credit card.
So just go down here to proceed the payment. Check that box, “I’d like to receive your newsletter,” proceed to payment, and that will take you to PayPal’s account who, who handles all of our payments. They’re a third party. We don’t see any of your credit card details, PayPal does. Even if you don’t have a PayPal account, you can pay, just click on here. If you have a PayPal account, do this but if not, you can pay with your credit card and that way you’ll get your credit card points here.
So just click on that and this is all nice and safe and secure, through PayPal—one of the most secure payment systems around. Fill in your details, put your payment through, and we’ll send your order out to you. Thanks for visiting the Maven Hospitality Supplies online store.
